Remembering Leonard Nimoy
In 2002, Leonard and Susan Nimoy made a significant ($250,000) contribution to MPTF's Samuel Goldwyn Foundation Children's Center (SGFCC) tuition assistance endowment to assist young children of entertainment families facing economic challenges.
To celebrate their generosity Leonard and Susan attended the dedication of the Nimoy "castle" at the SGFCC and then Chair of the SGFCC Executive Committee, writer Irma Kalish, said: "We owe the Nimoys a debt of appreciation that can only be repaid in the gleeful sound of children's laughter."
Leonard Nimoy's giving back has brought much laughter to hundreds of children over the years and will be part of his legacy for years to come.
