The Kirk Douglas Care Pavilion
Kirk Douglas’ life has been extraordinary in many ways and one large measure of his legacy is seen through his visionary philanthropy that is the heart and soul of MPTF’s care of residents suffering with Alzheimer’s as well as the families who are caring for them. Since the opening in 1992 of Harry's Haven, thousands of industry veterans and their families have been treated with dignity and compassion and now Kirk and Anne Douglas have added to this legacy of care with a leadership gift for a new two-story Pavilion on the Wasserman Campus of MPTF in Woodland Hills, CA.
The new two-story Kirk Douglas Care Pavilion will transform the way care is provided to our residents dealing with Alzheimer’s with increased capacity and a living environment built with the neighborhood concept. The Pavilion will house eighty residents and offer wonderful living spaces for the residents that will enhance their quality of daily living.
MPTF is enormously grateful to Kirk and Anne Douglas for their visionary generosity and leadership commitment and invite donors to join them in funding this new facility on the MPTF campus in Woodland Hills, CA.
